How to install and configure DD Free Dish to receive transmission on SWAYAMPRABHA channels?Two-step process for configuring and installing DD Free Dish and Settop box, generally available with all TV dealers for less than Rs. 2,000/-, is as follows:
Install DD Free Dish as per the directions given at: https://prasarbharati.gov.in/free-dish/
Set following parameters in the Set-top box for SWAYAM PRABHA Channels:
‘DD SWAYAM Prabha’ channels are upgraded from MPEG2 to MPEG4 technology with effect from June 7, 2023.
Now, to receive these channels, MPEG2 set-top box needs to be replaced with MPEG4 compatible set-top box.
Accordingly, the receiving parameters for ‘DD SWAYAM Prabha’ channels are changed as given below:
